| Beschrijving voorzijde | Armored and draped bust of Duke August Wilhelm facing right, wearing a flowing full-bottomed wig rendered with exceptional baroque detail. The effigy is of high relief with finely engraved pauldron and mantle visible at the truncation, and a ducal crown positioned below the bust. The encircling Latin legend reads AUGUSTUS . WILH . D . G . DUX . BR . ET . LUN . The coin exhibits a milled border of fine beading running along the entire periphery. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | Elaborate helmeted and mantled coat of arms of the House of Welf (Brunswick-Lüneburg), quartered with the heraldic charges of the constituent territories, surrounded by exuberant baroque cartouche scrollwork. Three crested helms surmount the shield, the central crest bearing a ducal coronet with sword and hat between wings. The date 17-20 is divided at the lower left and right of the shield, flanked by the mint-master initials HC and HY. The motto legend PARTA TUERI arcs along the upper field. A fine beaded border frames the entire design. |
