| Obverse description | Three oval heraldic shields arranged in a triangular composition, each bearing the arms of Nuremberg, flanked by two cornucopiae issuing from below and surmounted by a cherub's head at the apex. The shields rest on an ornate baroque cartouche within a beaded inner circle. The circumferential legend reads MONETA NOVA REIPUB. NORIMBERGENSIS. 1694., with the date incorporated at the conclusion of the inscription. |
