Surrounding the inner circle, the broad border is decorated with relief depictions of all twelve animals of the Chinese zodiac — rat, ox, tiger, rabbit, dragon, snake, horse, goat, monkey, rooster, dog, and pig — arranged in sequence. The denomination legend 10 DOLLARS is inscribed along the lower arc between the inner circle and the zodiac border. |
