| Obverse description | The official seal of the Republic of the Marshall Islands occupies the central field, depicting a traditional Marshallese stick chart (rebbelib) in the lower portion, with a frigate bird in flight above, a radiant sun, a sailing outrigger canoe, and palm-covered islands in the background. The design is framed by a decorative rope-chain border around the entire circumference.
