| Obverse description | The obverse displays the national coat of arms of the Republic of Liberia centrally positioned in the upper portion of the rectangular flan. The arms depict a sailing ship approaching a shore, a dove in flight, a palm tree, and a rising sun, all above a plough and a spade, with a banner inscribed 'THE LOVE OF LIBERTY BROUGHT US HERE' arching above and 'REPUBLIC OF LIBERIA' on a scroll below the shield. The denomination '10 DOLLARS' is boldly struck in the lower centre field, with the date '2005' beneath it.
