Beschrijving keerzijde A helmeted World War II Allied infantryman is depicted in three-quarter bust, prone in a combat position and cradling an automatic rifle, rendered in bold relief against a background of snow-laden coniferous trees evocative of the Ardennes forest in winter. The commemorative dedication legend TO THE HEROES OF THE BATTLE OF THE BULGE curves around the upper periphery, interrupted by bullet-point separators. The denomination TEN DOLLARS and the dual dates 1944 · 1994 appear in the lower field, marking the fiftieth anniversary of the engagement.
