| Obverse description | The national arms of the Republic of the Marshall Islands occupy the central field, featuring the traditional seal with a frigate bird in flight above a rising sun, flanked by two stick-chart navigational devices and a canoe sail, all set against a stylized ocean. The word SEAL appears in a cartouche at the base of the arms. The outer legend REPUBLIC OF THE MARSHALL ISLANDS arcs around the upper portion of the coin, while the denomination $10 and date 1991 flank the arms at either side. The national motto JEPILPILIN KE EJUKAAN, meaning Accomplishment Through Joint Effort, curves along the lower border. The entire design is framed by a decorative chain border. |
