Beschrijving keerzijde The reverse depicts a fully equipped Allied infantryman in battle dress and helmet, advancing at a run with rifle raised, rendered in high relief at the center of the field. Behind him, a panoramic scene of the Normandy landings unfolds, showing assault landing craft and naval vessels approaching the shore, with barrage balloons visible in the sky above. The dedicatory legend TO THE HEROES OF D DAY arcs along the upper periphery, punctuated by raised dots. The denomination TEN DOLLARS is inscribed in two parts flanking the soldier's lower figure, while the dual dates 1944 and 1994, commemorating the fiftieth anniversary of the landings, appear in the lower field.
