Reverse description The reverse carries a central vignette of The Chartered Bank headquarters building in Hong Kong, which opened in 1959, rendered in fine intaglio line work. A large numeral '10' appears to the right against a guilloche underprint, with the denomination and bank name repeated in both English and Chinese script. The overall colour scheme is red with green tonal elements.
