The "Strong Families" note was a limited commemorative issue tied to Singapore's SG50 jubilee celebrations marking fifty years of independence. Unlike the regular polymer Portrait series in circulation at the time, this note was not intended for general use — it was sold in presentation folders and targeted squarely at collectors and gift-givers, which means genuinely circulated examples are almost nonexistent.
