Sierra Leone's Bank has issued a long-running series of commemorative 10-dollar pieces tied to novelty themes, and this is among the more unusual — marking Queen Elizabeth II's annual Christmas broadcast, a tradition begun by her grandfather George V on BBC radio in 1932 and continued by Elizabeth without interruption from 1952.
