Reverse description A large draped bust of Sir Henry Morgan faces slightly left, rendered in high relief with long flowing hair and a mustache, wearing an elaborately decorated period coat with a broad lace collar. Two sailing ships of the 17th-century type are depicted in the middle ground, one to the left and one to the right of the portrait, separated from it by a horizontal sea-line. The legend LIEUTENANT GOVERNOR OF JAMAICA 1674 arcs along the upper border, while the name SIR HENRY MORGAN is inscribed in bold letters along the lower border.
