| Obverse description | Central field dominated by an elaborate Rococo-style arched window with a genuine purple Tiffany art glass insert, set within an ornately carved architectural facade featuring scrollwork, acanthus foliage, and grotesque mask motifs in high relief. Flanking pilasters with richly decorated capitals frame the composition on either side. The national arms of the Republic of Palau appear in a cartouche at the lower right, surrounded by a circular legend. The denomination '10 DOLLARS' is inscribed along the lower exergue in raised lettering. The entire surface is given an antiqued finish, enhancing the sculptural depth of the Rococo ornamentation. |
