背面描述 A detailed high-relief depiction of the Italian Regia Marina battleship RN Vittorio Veneto is shown underway at sea, viewed from the port bow quarter. At the top of the rhombus field, a partially gilt rectangular cartouche bears the Italian naval ensign with the House of Savoy emblem. The ship's superstructure, gun turrets, and hull are rendered with fine numismatic detail against a textured sea field. The legend RN VITTORIO VENETO is inscribed in bold italic lettering in the lower central field, with the year 2011 below.

附加信息

Vittorio Veneto was the final major Italian offensive of World War I, launched in late October 1918, which shattered the Austro-Hungarian army and effectively ended the war on the Italian front three days before the broader Armistice. Palau has issued numerous silver pieces commemorating naval and military history under its licensed coinage program, which is administered entirely by external minting agencies — the island nation itself has no domestic mint and a population under 20,000.

KM#395 is part of a broader Palau commemorative series that ran through the 2000s and 2010s, produced primarily for the collector market rather than any circulation purpose.
