The composition radiates symmetrically from a central circular medallion, with sixteen principal lancets extending outward and subdivided by intricate Gothic tracery into a multitude of quatrefoil and trefoil compartments, each filled with polychromatic enamel or resin inlay in deep blues, reds, greens, and golds.
