| 背面描述 | Central high-relief composition depicting Nancy Reagan standing behind two children, a boy and a girl, who wear t-shirts bearing the words JUST SAY NO, a reference to her well-known anti-drug campaign. Mrs. Reagan's arms rest affectionately on the children's shoulders. The legend UNITED STATES OF AMERICA arcs along the upper rim, while E PLURIBUS UNUM . $10 . 1/2 Oz. .9999 FINE GOLD is inscribed along the lower periphery. The overall design, engraved by Don Everhart after Joel Iskowitz's model, conveys a warm and purposeful scene commemorating the First Lady's public advocacy work. |

The First Spouse Gold Bullion series launched in 2007 to accompany the Presidential Dollar program, producing a .9999 fine gold coin for each First Lady in sequence. Nancy Reagan's issue appeared in 2016, corresponding to Ronald Reagan's appearance in the Presidential Dollar series. Mintages across the First Spouse program were consistently low — often under 5,000 pieces — partly because the $10 face value against a gold spot price many times higher made these unattractive to circulators and appealing only to dedicated collectors and bullion holders.
Nancy Reagan died on March 6, 2016, just months before her coin's release.
