背面描述 A dramatic colorized depiction of outer space occupies the central field, featuring the Morasko meteorite in flight against a starfield backdrop, with the curved limb of the Earth visible to the right and the sun's corona glowing at the planet's edge. A semicircular transparent capsule is embedded in the lower portion of the reverse, containing four genuine fragments of the Morasko meteorite. The legend 'MORASKO POLAND 1914 METEORITES-COSMIC FIREBALLS' is inscribed within the design, referencing the year of the meteorite's discovery.

附加信息

The Morasko meteorite field near Poznań is the largest iron meteorite strewn field in Central Europe, with fragments recovered over several decades following the first scientific excavations in the 1950s. Poland has no issuing authority for collector bullion with meteorite inclusions, which explains the Fijian imprimatur — a licensing arrangement that became common among European coin producers seeking a sovereign issuer for novelty precious-metal pieces in the 2000s and early 2010s.

The coin contains an embedded fragment of the Morasko iron, classified as an octahedrite.
