Beschrijving voorzijde The obverse displays the official seal of the Republic of the Marshall Islands rendered in high relief at the centre of the field. The seal depicts a frigate bird with outstretched wings above a traditional Marshallese canoe sailing to the right, flanked by palm trees on the left and coral formations on the right, with a radiant sun at the top and crossed traditional implements. A decorative chain border encircles the entire design. The curved legend REPUBLIC OF THE MARSHALL ISLANDS runs along the upper periphery, with $10 at the left and 1995 at the right; the Marshallese national motto JEPILPILIN KE EJUKAAN appears along the lower border, with the word SEAL inscribed on a banner at the base of the central device.
