| Reverse description | The reverse presents an elaborate high-relief Moresque mandala composition filling the entire field. An outer border of interlaced geometric knotwork frames a square rotated at 45 degrees, within which scrolling arabesque foliate motifs radiate symmetrically from the centre. The innermost zone features a dense, finely detailed rosette of intertwining acanthus-like scrolls rendered in pronounced relief, at the very centre of which a round-cut sapphire Swarovski crystal is inlaid, providing a vivid focal point. The field between the decorative elements is finely textured, enhancing the contrast and depth of the overall composition. No legends or inscriptions appear on the reverse. |
