| Obverse description | Facing bust portrait of Lucretia Garfield, wife of the 20th President, engraved in high relief with fine detail to her elaborately curled and pinned hair and ruffled collar. The legend LUCRETIA GARFIELD arcs along the upper border, while IN GOD WE TRUST appears to the left of the effigy and LIBERTY / 2011 / W to the right.
