Reverse description A highly detailed, naturalistic depiction of a male African lion is shown in full-body profile facing sinister, rendered in high relief against a stylised savanna landscape incorporating acacia trees, rocky outcroppings, and low ground vegetation. A radiant sun disc and birds in flight occupy the upper right of the field, evoking the open African horizon. The denomination $10 appears in raised numerals at the lower left of the design. The coin exhibits a polished proof-like field with no peripheral border.
