Beschrijving keerzijde The reverse displays a highly detailed relief of the Klingon Bird-of-Prey spacecraft from the Star Trek universe, depicted in a dynamic three-quarter view with its characteristic swept wings and hull plating rendered in fine detail. A smaller saucer-shaped vessel appears in the left field, accompanied by decorative star elements scattered throughout the background. The inscription KLINGON BIRD-OF-PREY appears in the left field adjacent to the main vessel. The curved legend STAR TREK: THE NEXT GENERATION arcs along the upper periphery in distinctive stylized lettering, and the denomination $10 is inscribed at the bottom of the field.

Aanvullende informatie

Liberia's numismatic output in the 1990s leaned heavily on licensed pop-culture subjects as a revenue mechanism — the country was issuing coins for foreign collectors, not domestic circulation. The Klingon Bird-of-Prey issue was part of a broader Star Trek series authorized under license from Paramount Pictures, timed to capitalize on the franchise's 30th anniversary in 1996–97.

These were produced for the collector market and saw no monetary use whatsoever.
