| Obverse description | The Fijian coat of arms occupies the central field, flanked by two traditional Fijian warriors serving as supporters: the dexter figure holds a spear and the sinister figure holds a tabua (whale's tooth). The quartered shield bears a British lion passant in the chief, with sugarcane, a coconut palm, a dove, and a British sailing ship in the four quarters; a Fijian outrigger canoe appears as the crest above the shield. A ribbon scroll beneath the shield carries the national motto in Fijian. The legend 'FIJI 2015' arcs along the upper rim, '10 DOLLARS' appears in large characters along the lower rim, and the specifications '3 oz' and 'Ag 999' are inscribed in the left and right fields respectively. |
