| Obverse description | The obverse displays the national coat of arms of Liberia at center, featuring a sailing ship at sea, a palm tree, and a rising sun, all within a shield supported by decorative elements. A scroll above the shield bears the national motto THE LOVE OF LIBERTY BROUGHT US HERE.
