Obverse description Facing right bust portrait of Jane Pierce, wife of the 14th President, depicted wearing a lace-trimmed bonnet with ringlet curls framing her face and a draped dress with a floral brooch at the neckline, rendered in high relief with fine sculptural detail. The legend JANE PIERCE arcs along the upper periphery, while IN GOD WE TRUST appears in two lines to the left of the effigy and LIBERTY, the date 2010, and the West Point mint mark W are inscribed to the right. Along the lower arc of the field, the ordinal designation 14th and the presidential term dates 1853-1857 are incused. The engravers' initials DW (Donna Weaver) and DE (Don Everhart) appear discreetly in the lower field.
