10 Dollars Henry III

Henry III of England granted the island of Montserrat to his loyal supporter in 1252, but the Eastern Caribbean's connection to medieval English monarchy is largely ceremonial — these commemorative issues from the ECCB series were produced to mark historical figures tied to the territorial histories of member states. The series ran through the early 2000s and was struck by the Royal Mint on contract.

KM#41 corresponds to the Montserrat attribution within the multi-island ECCB commemorative program, each island receiving its own reverse within a shared technical specification.
