Issued to mark the 25th anniversary of the Brunei Currency Board, this piece commemorates the institution established in 1967 when Brunei, Singapore, and Malaysia initially maintained currency interchangeability under the Currency Interchangeability Agreement — an arrangement that Singapore and Brunei still honor today, while Malaysia withdrew in 1973.
