Additional information

Liberia's early-2000s commemorative program was prolific to the point of controversy — the government licensed coin production to foreign mints and distributors, resulting in dozens of issues targeting collector markets with no genuine connection to Liberian history or economy. This piece falls squarely in that category. The V-1 Fieseler Fi 103 was a German pulse-jet weapon deployed from June 1944, killing over 6,000 civilians in Britain and causing the largest civilian evacuation of the war's final phase.

The coins were never intended for circulation in Liberia.
