The Chinese lunar series issued through Pobjoy for territories like the Isle of Man and others became a reliable annual franchise, though collector fatigue and proliferating competing issues from larger mints gradually eroded their secondary market premiums through the 2010s.
The titanium centre on these pieces characteristically develops a subtle iridescent tone over time, a natural oxidation effect specific to the metal.
