| Aanvullende informatie |
Part of the Royal Canadian Mint's ongoing bullion fractional gold program, this issue belongs to a wildlife-themed series that the RCM has used strategically since the early 2010s to compete directly with the American Gold Eagle and South African Krugerrand in the fractional collector-bullion crossover market. The wolverine — notoriously difficult to observe in the wild and sparsely distributed across Canada's boreal and subarctic zones — was a deliberate choice for a series emphasizing distinctly Canadian fauna rather than the iconic species already exhausted by earlier issues.
