Beschrijving voorzijde Diademed effigy of Queen Elizabeth II facing right, set within an open laurel wreath occupying the central field. The surrounding legend reads EASTERN CARIBBEAN CENTRAL BANK at the top and QUEEN ELIZABETH II at the bottom, with TEN DOLLARS to the right and 1 OZ .9999 GOLD to the left, all inscribed along the polished rim. The portrait is rendered in fine relief in a contemporary style characteristic of late-reign Elizabeth II coinage.

Aanvullende informatie

The Eastern Caribbean Central Bank issues currency on behalf of eight member territories — Antigua and Barbuda, Dominica, Grenada, Montserrat, St. Kitts and Nevis, St. Lucia, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, and Anguilla — but gold collector issues of this kind are struck purely for the numismatic market and have no meaningful circulation history in any of them. The ECCB has increasingly commissioned wildlife-themed bullion and proof issues since the mid-2010s as a revenue mechanism, with the whiptail lizard series among the more recent additions.

Colorization on .9999 gold is applied after striking via a resin-based process and does not affect metal purity or weight.
