Additional information

Part of the RCM's ongoing "Myths and Legends" bullion series, this release taps into a deeply rooted strain of Canadian folklore — particularly the loup-garou tradition carried into Québec by French settlers, a figure distinct from the Anglo-American werewolf in that it was often understood as divine punishment for neglecting Catholic sacraments. The series has leaned heavily on glow-in-the-dark technology applied to select reverse elements, a production technique the RCM has refined since its first use on collector issues around 2013.
