| Obverse description | Right-facing effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, rendered after the third definitive portrait by Raphael David Maklouf, wearing the George IV State Diadem. The legend ELIZABETH II arcs along the upper left periphery, with the date 2015 positioned at the top of the field and NIUE ISLAND along the upper right. The denomination 10 Dollars appears in the lower field beneath the portrait. The effigy is set within a circular cartouche recessed into the rectangular flan. |

| Reverse description | Full-color reproduction of the celebrated ukiyo-e woodblock print 'Three Beauties of the Kansei Era' (寛政三美人) by the master artist Kitagawa Utamaro, depicting three celebrated beauties of the Kansei period arranged in a close three-quarter composition. The three women — traditionally identified as Fujimoto Tomimoto Toyohina, Naniwaya Okita, and Takashima Hisa — are shown in elaborate traditional coiffures adorned with ornamental hairpins, dressed in richly patterned kimono. The artwork is rendered in vivid polychrome color printing directly applied to the silver flan, faithfully reproducing the delicate linework, muted tonal palette, and expressive characterization of the original print. A vertical Japanese inscription appears in the upper right field of the design, consistent with the cartouche text found on the original woodblock composition. |
