The dinosaur is set within a naturalistic prehistoric landscape featuring engraved coniferous trees and low vegetation on either side. The legend 'CANADA' arcs along the upper rim, while '10 DOLLARS' appears in the lower exergual area, with the date '2016' inscribed at the lower right along the inner border.
