| 正面描述 | The complete National Arms of Barbados occupies the central field, featuring a quartered shield bearing a bearded fig tree and two Pride of Barbados flowers, supported on the dexter side by a dolphin (depicted as a fish-tailed sea creature) and on the sinister side by a pelican. Above the shield rises a helmet with mantling and a clenched arm holding two crossed sugar cane stalks as the crest. Below the shield, a flowing scroll carries the national motto in two parts reading PRIDE AND INDUSTRY. The date, split as 19 and 79, appears to either side of the supporters, each flanked by a small trident symbol. The country name BARBADOS arcs boldly along the lower periphery within a beaded border. |
