Reverse description The reverse features a dual royal portrait composition commemorating the 65th anniversary of the Coronation. A portrait of King George VI, derived from one of the last coinage effigies of his reign, appears to the right, while a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, taken from one of the first coins of her reign, appears to the left. St Edward's Crown, a centrepiece of the Crown Jewels, is prominently incorporated into the design above the paired effigies. Contoured lines emanating between the two portraits symbolise the dynastic bond between father and daughter. The legends H.M. QUEEN ELIZABETH II, the coronation year 1953, the denomination TEN DOLLARS, and the issue year 2018 are distributed around the design.
