| Obverse description | Right-facing draped bust of Queen Elizabeth II, wearing a tiara and with her hair elaborately styled and pinned, engraved in high relief against a smooth field. The legend ELIZABETH II arcs along the left rim and CANADA 1975 along the right rim, both in upright Latin characters. A small maple leaf device appears at the base of the portrait, centered between the two legend segments. The effigy, modelled by Patrick Brindley, presents the Queen in a refined, classical style with softly rendered drapery at the shoulder. |
