This miniature gold issue belongs to Fiji's early 2010s run of sub-gram collector pieces themed around imperial Russian imagery — a series that had no connection to Fijian history whatsoever and was produced explicitly for the European novelty coin market. The Royal Australian Mint was not involved; these were contract-struck for distribution through wholesale numismatic dealers, largely in Germany and the Netherlands.
At 0.5 g of 14-karat gold, the actual precious metal content was never the point.
