Issued in the year of Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother's death at age 101, this coin is one of dozens of commemoratives flooded onto the collector market by British Overseas Territories exercising their right to issue legal tender under Crown authority — a privilege that generates revenue almost entirely from numismatic sales rather than circulation.
