| Aanvullende informatie |
Richard II's reign ended in 1399 when Henry Bolingbroke forced his abdication and imprisoned him at Pontefract Castle, where he died — almost certainly starved to death — early the following year. Fiji's commemorative gold issues of this period were produced in substantial numbers for the collector market, with the small planchet size keeping acquisition costs accessible. The KM#113 type was struck by the Pobjoy Mint under contract.
