| Obverse description | Diademed and draped effigy of Queen Elizabeth II facing right, after the portrait by Ian Rank-Broadley, occupying the upper left quadrant of the obverse. To the right of the effigy, a recessed rectangular panel bearing the vertical legend ELIZABETH II / NIUE ISLAND / 10 DOLLARS in raised letters against a polished field, flanked by a decorative zigzag border. The date 2020 appears at the lower left and the commemorative date 1920 at the lower right. The lower half of the obverse is filled with an intricate raised foliate ornamental pattern of stylised heart-shaped leaves and vines. The Czech Mint mark (CM) appears at the lower right. |
