| Obverse lettering | EASTERN CARIBBEAN CENTRAL BANK 1 OZ .9999 GOLD QUEEN ELIZABETH II TEN DOLLARS |
| Reverse description | The reverse presents a vivid underwater scene celebrating Grenada's renowned diving heritage. The lower portion of the field is filled with a richly colourised depiction of a vibrant coral reef, rendered in polychrome enamel with hues of red, yellow, blue, and green. Against the uncoloured gold field above, two raised silhouettes are shown: a scuba diver descending on the left and the skeletal wreck of a sunken vessel with its mast and rigging on the right, with light rays rising toward the surface. The inscriptions GRENADA arc across the upper field and the date 2018 appears below, both in raised Latin lettering. |

| Additional information |
The Eastern Caribbean Central Bank issues currency on behalf of eight member states — Antigua and Barbuda, Dominica, Grenada, St Kitts and Nevis, St Lucia, St Vincent and the Grenadines, Anguilla, and Montserrat — all sharing a single currency union that has been fixed to the US dollar at 2.70 EC dollars since 1976. Collector gold issues of this type are struck primarily for the numismatic export market, generating hard currency revenue rather than circulating domestically.
The colorization is applied after striking, a process that has divided collector opinion sharply since its mainstream adoption in the early 2000s.
