| Description du revers | The reverse features a romantic vignette of two turtledoves rendered in full color, facing one another and nestled together at center as a symbol of love and devotion. They are surrounded by an elaborate decorative arrangement of stylized foliage and scrollwork, with colored peacock-feather fronds fanning outward from behind the birds. Five Swarovski crystal elements are set into the tips of the fronds, adding a sparkling embellishment to the design. The legend CANADA 2016 is inscribed in flowing script along the lower portion of the field, flanked by ornate flourishes. The designer's initials AB appear to the lower right. |
