Reverse description The reverse displays the state coat of arms of Anguilla centrally positioned within a beaded border. The quartered shield features three dolphins in the upper left and lower right quarters, with a torch and the sun in the remaining quarters, supported by two dolphins and surmounted by a tree. A scroll beneath the shield bears the motto STRENGTH AND ENDURANCE. The denomination numerals 10 appear to either side of the arms, the dates MAY 30 JULY 11 1967 are inscribed at the top periphery, and the legends ANGUILLA and TEN DOLLARS with the year 1970 appear in the lower field.
