| 背面描述 | The reverse features a strikingly naturalistic, full-colour depiction of a Blue Jay (Cyanocitta cristata) perched and facing left, rendered in vivid selective colouring with brilliant blues and white highlights contrasting against a matte silver field. The bird is set against a background of flowering branches depicted in uncoloured relief, adding depth and an elegant naturalistic composition. The artist's initials DCW appear discreetly in the lower right of the field. A decorative inner border of raised circular pellets frames the design, with the legend CANADA arcing along the upper periphery and the denomination 10 DOLLARS inscribed in the lower right field, accompanied by the date 2015 along the left side. |

Part of the RCM's ongoing fine silver wildlife series, this issue belongs to a period when the Mint was aggressively expanding its collector programs — by 2015, Canada was producing more distinct numismatic silver issues annually than virtually any other sovereign mint in the world. The blue jay was already familiar territory for Canadian coinage, having appeared on the 1968–1969 commemorative dollar series decades earlier.
Struck in .9999 fine silver rather than the more common .999, placing it in the Mint's premium tier.
