Obverse description Right-facing effigy of Queen Elizabeth II wearing the Girls of Great Britain and Ireland tiara, rendered in the fourth definitive portrait by Ian Rank-Broadley. The mature, draped bust is depicted in fine relief against a mirror-polished field. The legend 'ELIZABETH II' arcs along the left rim and 'SOLOMON ISLANDS' along the right rim. The denomination '10 DOLLARS' is inscribed along the lower rim. The engraver's initials 'IRB' appear below the truncation of the bust.
