Niue has issued licensed Star Wars coinage since the early 2010s under agreements with Lucasfilm, and this piece commemorates the duel depicted in the 2022 Disney+ series Obi-Wan Kenobi — the first live-action revisit to the Anakin/Obi-Wan dynamic since Revenge of the Sith in 2005.
