| 正面描述 | Right-facing crowned effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, as sculpted by Ian Rank-Broadley, wearing a tiara and a pearl earring, with finely rendered hair detail. Alexander II's 1861 emancipation of the serfs freed roughly 23 million people — one of the largest single acts of manumission in history — yet it satisfied almost no one. The terms saddled former serfs with redemption payments that persisted until 1907, fueling the revolutionary discontent that ultimately produced the bomb that killed him in March 1881.
This is part of Cook Islands' extensive bullion-adjacent commemorative program, which has issued hundreds of silver $10 pieces using the standard 2 oz .999 format licensed through the New Zealand monetary framework.
