Below the eagle in the exergue, the inscription 2021 10OZ 9999 SILVER records the date, weight, and purity, with the engraver's initials JM also present in the design field. |

The Wedge-Tailed Eagle series, running continuously from 2014, is among the Perth Mint's most commercially successful bullion programs — driven in no small part by strong demand from Asian markets, where the eagle's association with strength and freedom translates well. The 10-ounce format was introduced specifically to capture institutional and stacker buyers priced out of the kilo tier.
The 6th Portrait of Elizabeth II, by Jody Clark, was adopted by the Perth Mint from 2019 onward following the Royal Mint's rollout. Clark won the commission through an internal competition — at 37, he became the youngest artist to portray a reigning monarch on British coinage.
