| Beschrijving voorzijde | The obverse field features a distinctive two-coin design composition set against a mirror-polished silver background, with a beaded border encircling the entire face. At the upper centre, a gold-plated inset replicates the reverse of the 1855 Sydney Mint sovereign, displaying a heraldic crown above the date 1855 and the legend SYDNEY MINT AUSTRALIA. At the lower centre, a second gold-plated inset depicts the fourth portrait effigy of Queen Elizabeth II as engraved by Ian Rank-Broadley, with the legend ELIZABETH II AUSTRALIA 2005 and the engraver's initials IRB.
